Michael Jackson Songs: American Idol March 10 performance (Videos and comments)

Lil Rounds - The Way You Make Me Feel

Scott Macintyre - "Keep The Faith"

Danny Gokey, "PYT"

Really high-energy, and very confident; his dance moves are just ridiculous though, totally spastic. He's having a great time; pretty unexpected to see this side of him, he's really trying to be a Performer.

Michael Sarver, "You Are Not Alone"

Simon said it best when he said that Michael isn’t the best singer in the competition but he makes up for it with passion and heart.

Jasmine Murray, "I'll Be There"

Randy says he got to record that with Mariah, was impressed by her version, not bad. Kara says maybe a half-key lower but you did it and sold it, great stage presence. Paula says great composure and poise, some pitch problems.

Kris Allen, "Remember the Time"

It was a pretty good performance all around and I think his looks has seized a good portion of the young female vote.

Allison Iraheta, "Give Into Me"

Paula loved it. Calls her a rock star. Says Allison's hair looks great (it doesn't). Simon calls it a “good performance.” Randy says she's just straight up got it. Kara loved it too. Maybe I was expecting something else.

Anoop Desai, "Beat It"

Paula says this song is untouchable, anyone but Michael doing it sounds karaoke to me. Simon says it was "horrible," a bad impersonation of Michael. Randy says just the wrong choice; Kara piles on, no variation on anything, just disconnected from you for the first time.

Jorge Nunez, "Never Can Say Goodbye"

"Never Can Say Goodbye" and it's a total R&B snooze fest. He's got a great voice, you just wish he did something different with the arrangement.

Megan Joy, "Rockin' Robin"

Kara says "it's just so Megan," not great vocals but good personality. Paula says your voice is quirky and unique, a bit disconnected for most of it though. Simon says we like you, but "what a stupid song choice," slams her dancing, her vocals, her performance.... Randy didn't like it either.

Adam Lambert, "Black or White"

Simon says that was in a totally different league than everything else. You have to be over-the-top to do Michael, well-done. Randy says you could make a record right now and sail to the top of the charts, "baby you've got it."

Matt Giraud, "Human Nature"

The falsetto was a little bit all over the place which is too bad because that is the best part of the song.

Alexis Grace, "Dirty Diana"

Alexis Grace chose to sing “Dirty Diana” but, in the end, I think it was a decent song choice. She was able to adapt it to a female voice and turned it into a sassy little number.
