Pia Toscano, American Idol contestant has formally agreed upon the contract with Interscope Records and Jimmy Iovine.
Heard plenty of boos when Pia Toscano was removed early in the competition during American Idol season 10. Probably none of that concerns now. In accordance with the Hollywood Reporter, Pia Toscano has formally signed a record deal with Interscope Records and Jimmy Iovine.
Pia Toscano isn't too far off of the gate strong. The singer set to release This Time, her first single on July 12. This Time was written by Nicki Minaj and Rihanna's well known composer, Ester Dean.
Pia Toscano's real album is scheduled to be released sometime later this season and based on producer Rodney Jerkins, it will likely be a "big, diva-sounding record."
News started to propagate rapidly after her removal that Pia Toscano was in the process of completing an arrangement but it was not quite official until recently.
Toscano said that she's thrilled to be becoming a member of the 19 Recordings and Interscope family. Jimmy Iovine was an incredible mentor at her time on Idol she said and Pia Toscano is getting excited about working with him and everybody at Interscope Records and 19 Recordings.
She also added that she feel like she's in good hands. And the most significant thing for her is feeling safe with the team she join. Thinking that they have a good vision for her and where Pia Toscano career is going to go."
