Rev. Alberto Cutie (pronounced koo-tee-AYE) is a 40 year-old well known South Florida priest who was born born April 29, 1969 in Puerto Rico. Alberto Cutie has his own Spanish language television show on the Telemundo network, hosts a radio show on Radio Pax and writes an advice column in the El Nuevo Herald.
Alberto Cutie has been removed from his media programs and has been stripped of his duties and forbidden from saying mass as a result of the scandal (sex scandal videos and photos). He has been placed on leave and has reportedly been sent by Archbishop of Miami John C. Favalora to an undisclosed location to pray and reflect upon his fall from grace.

May 29, 2009: The celebrity priest was removed from his Miami Beach church after scandal photos appeared in the pages of a Spanish-language magazine this month, Cutie will leave the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Miami to join the Episcopal Church. The private ceremony will happen at Trinity Cathedral, the church’s South Florida headquarters in downtown Miami. Later, celebrity priest is expected to announce that he will marry his girlfriend Ruhama Buni Canellis.
