Known as House, M.D., House, is an American medical drama TV series created by David Shore that debuted on the Fox network on November 16, 2004.
Plot:
The show revolves around Dr. Gregory House (British actor Hugh Laurie), a cynical medical genius with a damaged leg arising from an incorrect diagnosis and an addiction to painkillers, who heads a team of diagnosticians at the fictional Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital (PPTH).
House, M.D. Cast:
- Gregory House (Hugh Laurie) - Dr. House is the head of the Department of Diagnostic Medicine at the Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital (PPTH,) specialized in Infectious Disease and Nephrology.
- Lisa Cuddy (Lisa Edelstein) - Chief Hospital Administrator and Dean of Medicine at the PPTH. Dra. Cuddy is also member of the Hospital's Board of Directors and a member of the PPTH Organ Transplant Committee.
- James Wilson (Robert Sean Leonard) - head of Oncology Department.
- Eric Foreman (Omar Epps) - a neurologist at the Department of Diagnostic Medicine who resigned from the PPTH in "Human Error", and became the head of diagnostic medicine at the New York Mercy Hospital but got fired after confused saving a patient's life. Dr. Foreman was hired back by Cuddy in "Guardian Angels", and returned to his old position as physician at the PPTH in "Mirror Mirror".
- Allison Cameron (Jennifer Morrison) - Immunologist. In "Human Error", Dra. Cameron quits her job working for House, having developed a soft spot for Chase. She became a Department Head of the emergency room and a member in the Budget Committee.
- Robert Chase (Jesse Spencer) - an intensive care medicine specialist. Dr. Chase went on to become a Senior Surgeon at the PPTH. He's often mocked by House for his "pretty looks" and his Australian accent.
- Chris Taub (Peter Jacobson) - a former plastic surgeon who become a member of House's new diagnostic team.
- Lawrence Kutner (Kal Penn) - a Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Medicine specialist who committed suicide in season 5.
- Remy "Thirteen" Hadley (Olivia Wilde) - Internist, who was hired as a member of House's diagnostic team along with Kutner and Taub.
